Nominate Your Champions of the Earth 2014

The Sustainable Tourism Partnership Programme (STPP) are encouraging the travel trade to submit nominations for the 2014 Champions of the Earth, the United Nations’ highest environment award that honours outstanding visionaries and leaders in the fields of environment, Green Economy and sustainable development.

Marking the 10th successful year as the most prestigious global award on the environment, the Champions of the Earth Awards has honored some of the most influential leaders worldwide, including Al Gore, Marina Silva, Google Earth, Mikhail Gorbachev and Prince Albert II of Monaco.

These are the far-seeing advocates that drive the transition to an inclusive Green Economy in both developed and developing countries.

The 2014 Champions of the Earth Awards will recognize exemplary leaders in the following categories:

  • Policy Leadership

  • Inspiration and Action

Nominations must be submitted online by 14 March 2014.
