La Petite Ferme Ends Year on a Gourmet High

Ring in 2017 in true opulence at La Petite Ferme in Franschhoek, when this magnificently appointed, mountain-perched estate serves up an indulgent New Year’s Eve feast for you to celebrate the old and new with great food, wine and upbeat entertainment on 31 December.

This epicurean hotspot situated at the head of the Franschhoek valley will pull out all the stops with an exquisite four course dinner paired with matching estate wines, whilst sultry gypsy jazz sounds by the popular Manouche band will add extra razzle-dazzle to this sensory indulgence.

“Great food and wine have always been central to a memorable New Year’s party, and this year we will welcome 2017 with a fusion of contemporary and traditional tastes from our kitchen and cellar that promises to excite and satisfy. Think smoked prawns to get the party started, and sumac marinated lamb to add extra taste to the evening, not to mention our dreamy coconut panna cotta to end the year on a decadent high,” shares Executive Chef Neethling du Toit.

Tickets for the La Petite Ferme New Year’s Celebration cost R1300 per person, which include the dinner and live music entertainment. The evening starts at 19h00 and pre-bookings are essential as seating is limited.
