New fastjet GM of Sales Appointed

Johannesburg, South Africa – fastjet has appointed Sean Bradley as its General Manager of Sales.

Bradley is based in Johannesburg and is responsible for developing, implementing and managing an effective sales strategy for fastjet across the African continent.

He will focus on managing sales teams in the airline’s key markets of Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, as well as growing the airline’s relationships with trade and corporate partners with immediate effect.

“I’m pleased to join the fastjet team and excited to play a role in its growth,” says Bradley. “fastjet has flown over two and a half million passengers in its four years of operation, and established itself as a punctual, reliable, and affordable low-cost carrier.”

“Today fastjet operates 179 flights per week in its main markets of Tanzania and Zimbabwe, and our plan is to significantly increase the number of passengers this year who make use of our affordable and convenient offering,” he continues.

Bradley joins fastjet from his role of Global Manager of Trade & Product Support and Global Sales Development at South African Airways. His experience includes similar roles within the hospitality sector.

He serves on the South African Tourism’s National Convention Bureau sub-committee and recently joined the Board of Airline Representatives South Africa (BARSA) committee.

“Sean’s strong airline background and leadership skills make him the perfect fit for the role. He has wealth of experience in the travel industry, and the team is working well with him to reaffirm relationships between fastjet and the travel trade,” says Nico Bezuidenhout, CEO of fastjet.
