Shangri-La Appoints World Leisure Holidays as GSA

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited, one of the world’s premier hotel management companies, recently signed an agreement with World Leisure Holidays (WLH) as the dedicated general sales agent (GSA) for the Southern African region. From 1 June 2017, WLH will be responsible for all market segments in the Southern African region for the Shangri-La group.

Currently operating over 95 hotels in 22 countries and 73 destinations under the Shangri-La, Hotel Kerry, Hotel Jen and Traders brands, Shangri-La International are prominently positioned in Asia with a brand hallmark of “hospitality from the heart” that has been built over four decades in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, North America and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Roxanne Mac Gregor has been appointed as the Key Account Manager by World Leisure Holidays for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts global hotel portfolio, effective 1st June 2017.  Roxanne will be the key contact for all the hotel brands within the Shangri-La portfolio and will be based in the Johannesburg offices.  She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours, Triple major in Tourism, Business and Marketing Management and has more than seven years’ experience in the South African travel trade spanning leisure, MICE and corporates.
