The data from Statistics South Africa shows the continued decline in foreign tourist arrivals. This trend is echoed in the ACSA data, which shows a decline in passengers arriving on international and regional flights, although Cape Town International Airport is bucking the trend with strong growth from both international and regional flights. Passengers arriving on domestic flights continue to grow strongly indicating that domestic business tourism is recovering.
