Atta Launches a Photography Competition

Atta ~ The African Travel & Tourism Association has launched its first ever photograph competition, aimed at exhibiting the talents of Atta members, promoting Africa, and getting a number of different takes of what “Africa in the New Year” means to each of their members.

Launched on the 20th of January, voting is taking place via an album on Facebook, where the photos are collecting ‘likes’. The winner will be announced on the 31st of January 2014 and will host a live webinar to tell the story of their African product.

By hosting this competition on a social networking site, Atta aim to fulfill their mission statement by creating a positive image of Africa and a greater awareness of Africa as a travel destination . Atta also hope to increase dialogue between the experts and the general public.
