Leadership Changes for Flight Centre Brands

Flight Centre has announced some changes within their senior leadership team which are coming into effect on the 1st of July.  After 3 years of record growth within their corporate brands, General Manager of Corporate Traveller and FCm, Andrew Stark, will be taking over as GM of Flight Centre’s Retail brands incorporating 116 red & white shops, 7 FCBT shops, 6 Student Flight shops and 4 Cruiseabout shops. Andrew has been mandated to aggressively grow customer loyalty, shops numbers, staff numbers and overall sales for the coming years.

Andrew joined Flight Centre in 2005 in the capacity of GM for Product before moving to New Zealand in 2008 to take on the same role in Flight Centre’s Auckland office.  In 2010, he returned to South Africa to lead Flight Centre SA’s two corporate brands.

His replacement as GM of the corporate travel division is Eric Sakawsky, who joined Flight Centre South Africa in 2010 as GM of Marketing after relocating from their Canada office.  Eric Sakawsky began his career with Flight Centre Canada in 2004, achieving success within their retail brands and as GM of Marketing.

Within the Marketing team Michelle Jolley will be taking over as Marketing Manager for Flight Centre while Nicky Potgieter moves into the position of Marketing Manager for Corporate Traveller and FCm.
