Hotel System Implementation at Golden Gate Hotel

SANParks has implemented a new hotel management system for Golden Gate Hotel and Chalets, which went live on the 1st December 2013.

The new system is a stand-alone and will not be integrated with the current RoomSeeker reservation system.

Golden Hotel and Chalet reservations made after the system went live, will thus need to be made either by contacting:

The tour operators that use the online booking system will no longer be able to make direct bookings for the Golden Hotel and Chalets but other camps in the Golden Gate National Park, i.e. Glen Reenen, Highlands Mountain Retreat and Basotho Cultural Village will remain available in the current online booking system.

Commissions and allocations will remain applicable in accordance with your contract with SANParks. Existing reservations have been transferred to the new system and any reservation that included other camps in the Golden Gate National Park will be split and new confirmation documentation will be issued.
