Dries Zietsman has been appointed general manager for Avios Group (AGL) Limited in South Africa. He will oversee the management of Avios in the local market for the Avios Travel Rewards Programme and British Airways Executive Club.
Zietsman is tasked with evolving and delivering the business strategy, building new business opportunities and overseeing partner and customer relationship management.
He brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous position as country manager for MasterCard Worldwide in South Africa where he was responsible for the financial performance of the South African business and the management of the South African customer-facing teams.

Zietsman has a clear vision and understanding of the South African market which will contribute to Avios’ long term vision of being global leaders in travel rewards.
Zietsman previously held positions at Mindworx Consulting (Product and Marketing Consultant) Nedbank and Virgin Money SA. He holds a National Diploma in Marketing and an MBA from Bond University (Australia).
