Europe’s first and largest low fares airline, Ryanair, has launched Ryanair Transfers, a new transfers booking platform, powered by CarTrawler, allowing Ryanair customers to book the widest range of ground transport including taxis, chauffeur, bus, coach and rail services, all at the lowest prices.
Ryanair Transfers gives customers a direct connection to ground transport options across 33 European countries and is the latest in a series of improvements under Ryanair’s ‘Always Getting Better’ programme.
Commenting on the launch, Ryanair’s Greg O’Gorman said: “We are pleased to launch Ryanair Transfers, our new ground transfers booking platform, powered by CarTrawler, offering the widest range and best value ground transport service to our 129m customers. This is the latest in a series of customer experience improvements under our ‘Always Getting Better’ programme. Ryanair customers already enjoy the lowest fares in Europe and this product will guarantee them the lowest ground transport prices as well.”
CarTrawler’s Aileen McCormack said: “Ryanair Transfers, powered by CarTrawler, offers customers even more transfer choice with taxis, chauffeur services, bus tickets, shared coach and rail transfers, as Ryanair takes another step towards becoming the ‘Amazon of Travel’. We will now intelligently select and offer every mode of ground transport for every stage of the customer journey. This is another step forward in the partnership between the largest airline website, and the largest provider of business to business mobility services in the world.”
Established in 1985 by the Ryan family with a share capital of just £1, and a staff of 25, Ryanair today is a listed public company, which employs over 13,000 skilled professionals, with 400 new Boeing aircraft departing on 2000 daily flights from 87 bases in Europe, connecting to 33 countries.
