Shongololo Express is a train safari experience, which travels through Southern and East Africa. Since 1995, Shongololo Express has been offering guests from around the world the opportunity to experience adventures of the diverse African landscapes.
The train travels at night with daily stops at the top tourist destinations enabling the passengers to get off the train to explore and experience the exquisite landscape, diverse culture, heritage and wildlife of Africa with the experienced Shongololo Express tour guides. Tours are conducted using their luxury Mercedes Sprinter vehicles, which are carried on the train.
In comparison to a coach tour, this form of travel experience alleviates the need to pack and unpack on a daily basis, encouraging stress free travelling with the focus being on the experience. The train caters for a full breakfast and four course dinner on board. There is a full bar and laundry service for the guests’ convenience.
