Look to the skies in Cape Town on Easter Sunday (April 16th) to spot Para-Taxi’s Easter pilot flying through the air.
Not only will Para-Taxi Tandem Paragliding‘s Easter passengers enjoy a flight with the Easter Bunny, but 50% of the booking proceeds on the day will go to the Fikelela Children’s Centre in Khayelitsha.
The Fikelela Children’s Centre has been running in Khayelitsha for 11 years, providing short term safe care for up to 40 children aged 0 to 8. Children from all over the Western Cape who have been abandoned, orphaned, neglected or abused are provided with a secure, homelike environment. They are nursed back to health and put on antiretrovirals when necessary, the aim being to place them with extended family members or supported foster families.
Fikelela runs HIV and AIDS prevention programs, support groups, and participates in donation drives such as their current toiletry drive.
