Three generations of Ega worldwide congresses & events

With offices in Rome, Milan and Basel, Switzerland, Ega worldwide has worked with over 1,000 clients and boasts a team of more than 30 meeting experts. Some of the company’s recent projects include the EXPO 2015 in Milan, the G7 Conference 2017 in Taormina, the World Congress WAIMH 2018 in Rome, the European Congress ESERA 2019 in Bologna and the appointment as official housing agency in Milan for the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) 2021.

“We are very happy that the World PCO Alliance accepted us as their Partner for Italy, as we strongly believe in the power of a global network of partners which together provide high-quality local solutions for clients,” says Alain Pittet, Ega’s Executive Director, International Business Development. “One of the appealing factors of applying to the World PCO Alliance was the fact that partnership is limited to one PCO per country and that there is a preference to agencies which primarily are active in their home market.”

The addition brings the total World PCO Alliance membership to twenty firms around the world.

Says Alliance President Noel Mitchell, “The World PCO Alliance is delighted to welcome Ega worldwide into the Alliance as our new partner. The addition of such a veteran company enhances the profile and success of the partnership overall by bringing their great experience and contacts, and we are also very pleased to have such an established partner in the important conference location of Italy. We look forward to a very strong collaboration with Ega worldwide, which will benefit our entire global network and clients.”

Founded in 2009, the World PCO Alliance provides leadership in meeting management through the delivery of streamlined and effective meetings around the globe. The Alliance’s mandate includes the collective exchange of education, technology, and other information for the mutual benefit of the industry and ensuring the effective global promotion of its clients’ events. The organization is comprised of 20 chosen, quality PCOs in the meetings industry from around the world.
